Hold The Child staff carrying out SCOPE Biometric registration in Abyei South Sudan

Biometric SCOPE Registration

In partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP), Hold the Child rolled out SCOPE biometric registration from January to July 2025. This digital process ensured dignified and inclusive registration, prioritizing children’s access to nutritious food and essential services. Communities were actively involved in identifying their needs and ensuring accurate data for assistance.

By prioritizing children in these systems, families gained reliable access to school meals, healthcare, and community food banks. Beyond technology, the project emphasized awareness and trust-building with local stakeholders to ensure registration was seen as a tool for empowerment, not exclusion.
